Offerings for Schools

As an ex-primary school teacher I know the pressure that can be felt by the whole school communities. Teachers are all superheroes with invisible capes hiding under their lanyards.

With the relentless pace and emotional load - teachers carry an extraordinary amount for other people.

All the while, children are doing their best to concentrate, behave, learn, socialise, and regulate themselves for six hours a day in a system that isn’t always designed around their nervous systems.

That's why it is so important to me to give back to those communities and share my services with those who need it most. I offer calm, practical wellbeing sessions that fit real school timetables and real school pressures.

What I deliver is simple and effective: breathing, movement, mindfulness and relaxation techniques that help pupils (and staff) feel steadier, more confident, and better able to cope with stress.

Afterschool and lunchtime clubs (Primary)

My primary sessions are popular story-themed classes where imagination leads the way. We use characters, journeys and games to explore:

Breathing techniques that children can actually remember and use
Yoga-inspired postures to build strength, coordination and confidence
Mindfulness games to support focus and emotional regulation

Every session is anchored in a positive message such as kindness, teamwork, resilience, courage, determination, or self-belief. We finish with a guided relaxation, and children can opt in to a gentle head/shoulder massage (over uniform, with clear consent and boundaries) if they choose.

Afterschool and lunchtime clubs (Secondary)

For secondary students, the tone shifts to something more “grown up” (a calm, accessible practice that feels relevant rather than patronising).

These sessions are gentle but purposeful. They build strength, balance and body awareness over time, and they normalise something students rarely get permission to practise: slowing down. We also introduce a healthy relationship with challenge -learning to wobble, fall, reset and try again with lightness and humility.

Exam support sessions (SATs / GCSEs / A-Levels)

In the run-up to exams, I offer 60-minute daytime sessions focused on practical strategies students can use immediately, including:

Simple breathing tools to ease anxiety in the moment
Grounding techniques for overwhelm
Body-based cues for recognising stress early
Short resets that work before lessons, mock exams, and the real thing

These sessions help students build awareness and confidence, not just “calm down”.

For Staff

INSET / PD wellbeing sessions for staff

Staff sessions are a restorative reset - ideal before holidays, at the start of term, or as part of a wellbeing focus day.

They’re designed to feel like a treat, without being fluffy: gentle movement, breathwork and deep relaxation to support rest, focus and nervous system recovery. Teachers consistently describe these sessions as “exactly what we needed” and often leave with one or two simple practices they can actually keep using.

I can deliver one-off sessions or a half-termly programme. Afterschool clubs, lunchtimes, curriculum-linked wellbeing slots, exam-season support, and PD sessions are all available. I’m experienced in school settings, understand safeguarding culture, and keep everything age-appropriate, inclusive, and easy for staff to host.

If you’d like to bring calm, confidence and resilience into your school day in a way that children and staff genuinely enjoy, I’d love to help.
